How do I use wax melts?

Wax melts are small shapes of wax that are melted over a heat source. Unlike candles, they don’t disappear, but will eventually lose their scent. When this happens, remove the wax and replace with a fresh melt. To dispose of the wax, it can be thrown away to degrade or dissolved under hot, soapy water as it’s water soluble.

How long do wax melts last?

Each of our tree stump wax melt shapes is 15g and usually burn their scent for around 6-8 hours across multiple remelts. They come in packs of 4, so they are extremely cost effective.

How are wax melts different from candles?

With candles, the heat created by the ignited wick is what releases the scent. Wax melts are heated over a hot surface called a warmer or burner. The heat comes from underneath the wax, either with a tealight candle or a small bulb and releases the fragrance that way.

You can also control the strength of the scent by using more or less melts per burner.
